Role Overview
The SDET role is responsible for the development and delivery of an automation-first test suite for our ComplianceAlpha products, ensuring the reliability of data pipelines that ingest and process large volumes of data from various platforms.
About Acaglobal
ACA was founded in 2002 by four former SEC regulators and one former state regulator. The founders saw a need for investment advisers to receive expert guidance on existing and new regulations. Over the years, ACA has grown both organically and by acquisition to expand our GRC business and technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside a highly collaborative and talented engineering team
- Design, develop, and execute automated functional tests to ensure the reliability and quality of our data pipelines
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test coverage
- Investigate failures, identify root causes, and help improve the overall quality of our platform
- Explore and adopt new testing techniques, tools, and automation strategies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Curious, lifelong learner who is excited to develop new skills and explore new technologies
- Passionate about software quality, automation, and continuous improvement
- At least 2 years of experience developing software in Python
- Experience developing automated test pipelines for Python-based ETL processes
- Experience consuming REST APIs using Python
- Working knowledge of asynchronous Python (asyncio) and strategies for testing asynchronous code
