Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full development cycle from software design to testing and ensuring everything works as expected in production
- Work with one of the biggest PostgreSQL databases, focusing on maintaining the platform's performance and reliability
- Build and improve integrations at a global scale for in-store and online payments
- Build the best and most efficient payment engine globally
- Build connections to all relevant payment methods and card schemes worldwide
Requirements & Eligibility
- You have experience with Java, web services, REST APIs and SQL / PostgreSQL
- You have worked with and deployed high-throughput and highly reliable services
- You are proactive, you take ownership and you strive for quality, from both a technical and product perspective
- You have excellent communication skills and you can explain complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- You are a team player who knows when and how to involve other people to hear different perspectives
