Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager (hands-on) for Alan Clinic to lead the engineering team, build alongside them, and redefine the future of care by democratizing access to medical expertise through conversational AI and digital clinic platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team and keep building alongside them
- Own hiring, onboarding, honest feedback, and the mix of skills Mo needs as it grows
- Guide the calls on architecture and agentic framework
- Drive alignment with crews and medical teams to ensure a smooth transition from conversations to care
- Ensure operational excellence, managing latency, error rates, incident response, and on-call rotations
Requirements & Eligibility
- 3+ years leading engineering teams, with a track record of building high performers
- Experience establishing engineering excellence standards, with the ability to guide architectural decisions
- First-hand experience shipping AI or LLM products to production is a big plus
- Comfortable with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools
