Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree
- Desirable to have passed subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan, or willingness to take them in the future
- Experience using various analysis software is desirable
- Ability to read and write English without resistance
- Experience in actuarial science, data analysis, or non-life insurance is desirable but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Support various analyzes, trial calculation execution, and explanation of the results for insurance premium rate determination.
- Conduct regular analysis and continuously participate in the product design/rate verification process.
- Support product design, underwriting rule creation, and various measure processes by conducting individual detailed analysis according to the purpose.
- Support the creation of actuarial authorization application documents and the execution of authorization negotiations with the Financial Services Agency.
- Support the planning of profitability and growth targets of assigned insurance products in close cooperation with the product team.
