We are looking for a talented Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Storage and Messaging team in our established Platform Engineering team to build a self-service platform that empowers teams to build at scale across diverse database and messaging technologies.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Golang and Python
• Strong understanding of platform engineering principles and distributed data systems
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
• Experience with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka
• Fluency in using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes in a cloud-first environment
• Exceptional communication skills

• Build a self-service platform that empowers teams to build at scale across diverse database and messaging technologies
• Continuously evolve our platform to support new data models and use cases, including structured and semi-structured data models, stream processing, and data governance at scale
• Build and maintain a secure, scalable, and compliant data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Enable data ingestion, processing, and consumption at scale
• Mentor teammates by sharing technical knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and driving engineering excellence
