Role Overview
The Software Engineering Team Leader will guide a team through a successful integration into both Sell-Side and Bloomberg ecosystems, focusing on acquiring and normalizing market and reference data for high-throughput trading systems.

The Sell-Side Pre-Trade and Execution (SSPTE) group builds and supports global, multi-asset Sell-Side execution management systems (EMSes) relied upon by leading financial institutions.

- Collaborate effectively with Product and senior management to drive the mission for this team
- Interact and build relationships with our Client Services and Professional Services teams
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2+ years of experience in people leadership - managing and coaching team members
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering and coding in an object-oriented programming language (C++, Python, Java, etc)
- Willingness to work with C++ on the job
- Proven record of successfully delivering on key initiatives, effective technical design influence and driving long-term strategic technology plans
- Experience working with product, sales and other engineering stakeholders to define projects and drive design discussions
