Overview
The Systems Engineer applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions, managing software development and applying systems engineering principles to a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software environment.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Systems Engineers to join the Air Dominance Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT).
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 4+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 3+ years of systems engineering experience involving system architecture development, including system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, and verification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet project/program commitments, including support of deliveries and customer reviews
- Leverage Systems Engineering experience to implement, maintain, and refine the systems engineering approach for software development
- Perform activities such as software data item reviews, JIRA administration, sprint planning, and overall integration of the software development effort
- Support planning and execution of software configuration and data management processes
- Support the program in implementing MBSE as part of digital engineering to meet customer expectations
- Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop and verify complex systems solutions
