Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering or any related field
- 15 - 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including experience in performance benchmarking, operations, data management, or strategic consulting
- Proven technical background in database management, data architecture, or data engineering
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational and non-relational database platforms
- Strong knowledge of benchmarking frameworks and performance measurement methodologies
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching, and development for a team of benchmarking analysts, database owners and front-end data visualization specialists
- Coach and mentor a team to execute benchmarking studies across upstream, downstream, midstream, and chemicals
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of data submissions and outputs across multiple studies and business units
- Oversee database management activities, and integration of internal and external data sources, APIs, and pipelines
- Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to ensure alignment of database solutions with enterprise standards
- Serve as ENGINE point of contact with third-party data providers and external benchmarking organizations
