Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Associate Analyst who has a basic understanding of data principles with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic project environment, facilitating data onboardings onto our core data platforms.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree: B.Com, B.Sc.
• 0-1 years experience with basic proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, transformation, and analysis.
• Foundational understanding of ETL processes and data integration workflows.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF), preferably through academic projects, training, or hands-on exercises.
• Awareness of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS) and willingness to develop practical expertise.
• Ability to investigate data and process issues using structured root cause analysis (RCA).
• Basic understanding of code debugging and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros for data preparation, reporting, and task automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing data to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps.
• Support data cleansing and enrichment activities under established guidelines.
• Help validate source extracts against business requirements, data rules, and expected results.
• Perform basic post-load validation to confirm data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined rules.
• Document data quality issues, validation results, and resolution status for review.
• Work with ETL developers and senior team members to implement data quality checks.
• Support the investigation and root cause analysis of data defects and validation failures.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and project teams to resolve data-related issues.
