As an entry-level Quality Engineer in the Analytics Horizontal team, you will help ensure the reliability, accuracy, usability, security, and performance of analytics solutions, including reports, dashboards, ETL and data pipelines, APIs, and AI-enabled applications.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree educated or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• Foundational understanding of software testing concepts, the software development life cycle, and defect life cycle
• Basic SQL knowledge for querying, comparing, and validating data
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Work with quality engineering leads, developers, analysts, and product owners to understand requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, detailed test cases, test data, requirement traceability, and evidence for analytics solutions.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, retesting, exploratory, user-interface, API, and end-to-end testing across reports, dashboards, data pipelines, and AI-enabled applications.
• Validate reports and dashboards for data accuracy, calculations, filters, drill-downs, visual behavior, usability, access controls, exports, and performance.
• Use SQL and source-to-target comparisons to verify data completeness, accuracy, consistency, transformations, reconciliations, refreshes, and exception handling across databases and analytics platforms.
• Identify, document, prioritize, track, retest, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, test-status reporting, release-readiness activities, and post-release validation.
