Overview

The Lead Robotics Software Engineer - IoT will be a key member of the embedded software platform team, contributing to the development of CI/CD pipelines, sensor integration, system kernel, and board bring-up for AI-powered edge devices.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or similar
• 8+ years of work experience in embedded system development, including board bring up and embedded Linux kernel/driver porting
• Experience in fulfilling continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline setup
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux toolchains, Yocto build system, and git
• Experience in configuration and use of sensor devices over I2C, SPI, UART with DMA
• Experience in sensors/camera/BT/Wifi modules integration and calibration
• Strong proficiency in C++ (STL, boost libraries, design patterns)
• Strong proficiency in multithreading programming and synchronisation mechanisms

Key Responsibilities

• Design, development and deployment of software build/test/release pipeline for CI/CD of embedded system products
• Design and development of firmware and software platforms to enable features on AI-enabled products
• Manage the entire life cycle of multiple complex modules and systems
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) in specific domain, disseminating knowledge and mentoring engineers
• Proactively identify technical risks within projects and influence engineering teams in their resolution
• In-depth participation in cross-teams product design discussions
