Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience
- Working understanding of operating systems (especially Linux), TCP/IP networking, and core security concepts such as authentication, encryption, and least privilege
- Some Hands-On Exposure via coursework, internships, labs, CTFs, personal projects, or open source contributions
- Comfort reading and writing basic Python or a similar language
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting technical problems
Key Responsibilities
- Support Day-to-Day Security Engineering by assisting with configuration, tuning, and routine health checks of security tooling
- Build Automation and Tooling by writing and maintaining scripts (Python preferred) and small integrations
- Learn Detection and Telemetry by working with log and telemetry platforms such as Splunk
- Contribute to Reviews and Documentation by participating in design and configuration reviews
