Full Stack Development at Ford

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team as a backfill replacement. This role is critical to maintaining continuity on our current engineering initiatives and requires a hands-on developer who is comfortable working across the full technology stack — from backend microservices to front-end user interfaces, deployed and managed in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java / Spring Boot microservices architecture.
Build responsive, dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular, React, and HTML.
Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Author and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
Manage source code, branching, pull requests, and version control workflows using GitHub.

Requirements & Eligibility

Strong hands-on experience with Core Java/Spring Boot microservices development.
Solid front-end development experience with Angular, React, and HTML.
Familiarity in SQL, including query optimization, database design, and working with relational databases.
Practical, hands-on experience with cloud-native deployment and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code provisioning and management.
