Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience building and evolving customer-facing web applications or platforms at scale
• Strong hands-on experience contributing to software project delivery, including deployment and operational ownership
• Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, testing strategy, quality assurance, and solution validation
• Strong experience maintaining, debugging, and improving live software applications
• Proven ability to drive technical direction and influence architectural decisions across team boundaries
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex web and platform capabilities
• Drive technical strategy and architectural alignment across multiple teams and services
• Develop web applications using Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Design and develop APIs that enable core business capabilities
• Translate business goals into technical plans and engineering roadmaps
• Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and observability
• Ensure system monitoring and alerting are in place
• Proactively identify and remediate software issues and security vulnerabilities
