Requirements & Eligibility
- 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering
- Solid track record in system design and building platform services
- Experience with coding agents and automation tools
- Strong proficiency in one of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
- Experience building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of Guidewire's application platform
- Apply agentic coding tools and support Guidewire's effort to dramatically accelerate development
- Engineer for quality, scalability, availability, and security in every aspect of the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient platform operations
- Support and mentor junior engineers
