Staff Software Engineer
Overview
As a Staff Software Engineer for GI, you will help shape an end-to-end digital care experience for people living with GI conditions. You will lead rapid experiments to validate assumptions, navigate complex technical and product challenges, and turn what you learn into a reliable, scalable product.

Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 4+ years of practical software engineering experience, including building and shipping user-facing applications in production.
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
- 2+ years of hands-on React Native experience building mobile applications at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Help define the GI product line from scratch.
- Build strong partnerships with Product, Design, and Marketing to align on strategy, experimentation roadmap, and success metrics.
- Lead the technical roadmap development for the new GI product line spanning AI systems, UX interfaces, business logic middletier, and hardware integration.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for the hardest parts of the new product line.
- Build the GI product as a minimum lovable product (MLP) delivering a significant and measurable health improvement for members.
- Mentor and pair with engineers on the pod, helping them grow in engineering best practices, code quality, and experimentation mindset.
