As a Founding Backend Engineer, you’ll own core systems that power real-time voice/chat interactions, campaign execution, data pipelines, and customer-facing reliability.

Huvo AI is a vertical AI Sales OS platform that automates and improves the sales process end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend services in Python for core product workflows (campaigns, lead orchestration, reporting, integrations).
- Design and maintain scalable REST APIs and internal services.
- Work on real-time systems: event-driven pipelines, queues, streaming workflows, and low-latency services.
- Implement caching and performance optimizations (Redis or equivalent), rate limiting, retries, idempotency, and observability.
- Integrate with external APIs (telephony, STT/TTS providers, LLM endpoints, WhatsApp, CRMs).
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong Python backend engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and API design best practices.
- Experience building systems with real-time constraints (webhooks, queues, event processing, background workers).
- Practical knowledge of caching concepts (Redis/memcache), database fundamentals, and performance debugging.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and how to integrate model/API outputs into production systems (LLMs, STT/TTS, embeddings, evaluation basics).
