Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 to 10 years in static equipment & Heat exchangers within EPC, OEM, Manufacturing, or consultancy firms
- Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as PV Elite, HTRI & Auto-CAD
- Deep understanding of ASME Section VIII (Div 1/2), Section II (Materials), and related codes (API 650, API 660, TEMA etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical calculations for pressure vessels, shell and tube exchangers, and columns used in Refrigeration industry & oil & gas applications
- Apply ASME Sec VIII, TEMA, and API standards to determine wall thickness, flange ratings, and nozzle loads
- Create technical datasheets, material requisitions, and Review General Arrangement (GA) or fabrication drawings
- Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and review/Approve vendor drawings
- Coordinate with Process, Piping, and QA/QC teams to resolve shop-floor or manufacturing queries
