In this role, you’ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe while playing a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe’s core data.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
• Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc.) with debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software.
• Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services.
• Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues.
• Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.
• Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
