Overview

The Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Interior Seating will lead supplier quality strategy and industrialization for seating systems. This role ensures compliance with Lucid quality, safety, and environmental standards while supporting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering (or related field)
• 5–8 years in supplier quality or industrialization in automotive/manufacturing environments
• Experience in seating systems, seat-frame engineering, or related interior components highly preferred
• Proven implementation of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 systems
• Fluent in English for technical communication and documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Supplier Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 standards
• Oversee quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and supplier documentation
• Manage APQP for new product launches to ensure defect prevention and product conformity
• Lead PPAP documentation review and submission to customers, ensuring compliance with Lucid and industry standards
• Monitor rejection/rework data and supplier performance metrics; drive corrective actions
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure closure of non-conformities
• Act as liaison for customer quality issues and lead 8D problem-solving activities
