Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of embedded software validation experience
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience testing Embedded Linux products
• Strong networking knowledge
• Experience with REST API validation
• Experience with Python automation
• Experience with Git, JIRA, Confluence

Key Responsibilities

• Validate Embedded Linux firmware and middleware features throughout the product lifecycle.
• Verify firmware functionality across multiple hardware revisions.
• Execute feature validation, regression testing, and system integration testing.
• Validate firmware upgrade and downgrade flows.
• Verify configuration persistence across reboot and power cycles.
• Validate watchdog recovery and fault recovery mechanisms.
• Test features including outlet control, outlet scheduling, sequential power on/off, outlet grouping, user management, sensor management, alert configuration, threshold configuration, energy monitoring, environmental monitoring, and logging and diagno
• Validate Linux boot sequence, system services, process startup, resource utilization, memory usage, CPU utilization, file system integrity, persistent storage, and system recovery.
