At Porter, we’re building the operating system for intra-city logistics in India. Every month, our platform powers 20M+ orders, supports 500K+ daily active drivers, and solves real-world problems at massive scale.
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2–5 years of software development experience
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals
- Experience building and shipping production systems
- Exposure to distributed systems / scalable backend services
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and distributed systems
- Drive low-level design independently and contribute to architectural decisions
- Build reliable, observable, and performance-optimized systems
- Solve for scale, latency, failure handling, and operational excellence
- Take end-to-end ownership of services — from design to production
- Improve monitoring, alerting, uptime, and engineering hygiene
- Lead debugging, RCA, and long-term reliability improvements
- Write clean, modular, production-grade code
