As the Control System Engineer for Quality, you will independently assure the product has been developed in accordance with declared processes, working closely with program teams to conduct independent reviews of lifecycle data, audits, and supplier engineering quality oversight.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree in Engineering, OR PhD in Engineering
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Product development experience with an interest in process improvement or background in configuration control or quality
- Experience with configuration control or quality (process assurance)
- Familiarity with requirements management and validation
Key Responsibilities
- Independently assure that the product has been developed in accordance with declared processes and that processes are effective, understood, maintained, and continually improved
- Perform independent review of lifecycle data, preparation for and conduct of audits, and witness key development activities
- Provide oversight of suppliers engineering quality and liaison with civil and military airworthiness
- Observe tasks in progress, review related documentation, interview review participants, and examine completed work products
- Constructively identify issues, examples of best practice, and opportunities for improvement
