Role Overview
We're building an engineering team, and this role is core to that. As a Backend Developer, you'll work closely with product managers and fellow engineers to build the systems powering Snapmint's e-commerce team.

We pioneered Pay in 3 through UPI and are also home to India’s leading 0% EMI e-commerce app — giving millions of Indians the freedom to shop now and pay in monthly instalments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for Snapmint's platform
- Support and scale digital projects, including client microsites and third-party integrations
- Write and maintain automated test scripts for new features
- Collaborate directly with PMs, designers, and engineers across the stack
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Debug, monitor, and improve system performance in production
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership
- Strong experience in systems architecture design and development
- Strong experience building single-page and progressive web applications
- Experience using test-driven development practices
- Ability to efficiently manage and build large, complex web applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail
