Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications, services, and APIs
- Build secure, reliable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services
- Develop clean, maintainable, modular, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, indexes, and data-access layers
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases depending on application requirements
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production issues, and backend reliability challenges
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2-9 years of professional experience in Backend Engineering / Software Development
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining backend applications and services
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, API development, and server-side programming
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, PHP, C#, or similar
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with service-to-service integrations
