Role Overview
The VDC Manager is part of the Client Operations team, sitting within the Project Controls function and working closely with the BIM team to drive the effective integration of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) methodologies, BIM processes, and model-based workflows across projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and processes across projects.
- Develop and implement automation solutions, including Revit scripts and other tools, to improve efficiency, data quality, and consistency across BIM/VDC workflows.
- Analyse BIM model data and element metadata to support project controls, progress tracking, quality management, and other project requirements.
- Work directly with clients, contractors, designers, and project stakeholders to understand their requirements and establish effective BIM/VDC workflows.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously — coordinating priorities, deliverables and deadlines — and lead the BIM/VDC team.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in a BIM/VDC management role on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in BIM authoring and management tools — Revit essential; experience with scripting or automation (Dynamo, Python, or similar) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing BIM standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
- Experience working directly with clients, contractors, and designers in a client-facing project delivery environment.
