Requirements & Eligibility
- Juris Doctor degree
- Admitted to practice and in good standing with one or more state bars in the US
- 4-8 years of legal experience across commercial, operational, or general corporate matters
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience with commercial contracts including technology/cloud agreements, SaaS service agreements, and contractor/consulting agreements
- Strong business judgment and ability to assess risk across multiple jurisdictions
Key Responsibilities
- Lead response to legal tickets from sales, procurement, and HR teams
- Draft, review, and negotiate inbound SaaS, service, and consultant/contractor agreements
- Collaborate with commercial counsel to support sales deal closures
- Collaborate with employment counsel on personnel-related compliance policies and documents
- Advocate for and implement technology to improve legal team efficiency, including automation and AI tools
- Monitor global legal developments for compliance in areas like labor, data privacy, and AI-related laws
