Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Foundations team to build, maintain, and improve the Data Platform used by everyone at Alan, enabling secure and reliable data access and infrastructure.

Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience, aiming to build the new standard in prevention insurance.
Requirements & Eligibility
- 3+ years of experience demonstrating impact in Data positions
- Experience building and operating production data infrastructure: orchestration (Airflow or similar), a cloud data warehouse, infrastructure as code
- Experience designing systems, tools or libraries used by other engineers, scientists or analysts
- Proficient in Python and SQL
- Fluent and clear in English, both oral and written
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve the Data Platform used by everyone at Alan
- Partner closely with people across Alan to understand their needs and build data solutions they can trust and use effectively
- Own and manage all data-related tools that power Alan
- Improve the developer experience when building and maintaining data pipelines
- Enable reliable and secure access to our data warehouse for Alaners and AI agents
- Strengthen security and governance around our data assets
- Define and implement standard data practices across Alan
- Maintain and evolve our core data infrastructure to accommodate Alan's international expansion and growing product breadth
