Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Privacy) within the Tech Foundations area to own and evolve the privacy platform, build the paved road for self-serve tooling, and coordinate across areas for data lifecycle and privacy engineering.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Senior-level experience (typically 8+ years) in backend or platform software engineering, or equivalent, with deep production ownership
- Experience building and operating platforms, libraries, or services that other engineers depend on
- Comfortable operating across many teams and influencing without authoritarianism
- Pragmatism under constraint
- Fluent in English
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the privacy platform including its core engine, safety mechanisms, and operational health
- Build the paved road including documentation, templates, and self-serve tooling for data management
- Coordinate across areas to align legal, security, data, and data-producing areas on requirements and resolve design trade-offs
- Drive open platform design questions to a conclusion and grow capabilities as Alan's footprint expands
