Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree, minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Functional and Automation testing
- Expertise in writing test plan, curating use cases and end-to-end test case management, execution tracking, and requirement traceability
- Advanced proficiency in Jira for bug tracking
- Strong hands-on experience with Git/SVN or any other version control tool
- Proficiency in Postman or SoapUI for functional API testing
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for validating data flow across supply chain databases
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and integration-level API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured to validate microservices communications
- Engage early in the SDLC by participating in design reviews to identify potential risks and ensure features are built for testability
- Identify, track, and resolve software defects in Jira, performing root-cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence
- Balance your time between executing exploratory tests for new features and writing robust, maintainable automated scripts for long-term stability
- Provide clear, data-driven reports on software health and risk to stakeholders
