Requirements & Eligibility

• 7-10+ years of experience in IBM z/OS application development, maintenance, modernization, and production support
• Deep technical expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL, JCL, VSAM, and batch processing
• Strong understanding of enterprise-scale transaction processing systems
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies, production support, incident management, performance optimization, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate complex technical issues, assess business impacts, and deliver effective solutions under tight timelines
• Regularly interact with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and senior management
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior developers, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the modernization and long-term stability of enterprise mainframe platforms
