Requirements & Eligibility
- Solid professional experience as a senior reporter or editor
- Sophisticated grasp of the fashion business
- Acute news judgment
- Clear understanding of BoF’s target reader
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a 24-hour news cycle
- Strong writing skills and an ability to tell complex stories with flair
- Ability to cultivate high-level industry sources
Key Responsibilities
- Leading BoF’s coverage of the US luxury fashion market
- Delivering agenda-setting exclusives, insightful news analyses and sophisticated analytical-style features
- Writing 1-2 news or news analysis pieces per week
- Writing 1 feature piece per week
- Leading BoF’s coverage of New York Fashion Week
- Acting as a brand ambassador and deepening BoF’s industry relationships in the US
