The Sales Specialist - Downstream Hardware is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services.

Requirements & Eligibility

• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Bring several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology or bioprocessing industry, and preferably gained in multicultural or multi‑country environments.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willing and able to travel regularly (up to approximately 50%) throughout the assigned territory and internationally for activities such as trade shows or FATs.
• Hold a valid EU driving license (category B).

Key Responsibilities

• Sell Cytiva’s Downstream Hardware solutions and equipment across the assigned territory covering France.
• Provide high‑level technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including pre‑sales discussions, product demonstrations, technical trainings, post‑sales support, seminars, tender support and promotional events.
• Consult customers on downstream process applications, leading technical and process‑related conversations with engineering teams and subject matter experts.
• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities while nurturing long‑term relationships with existing accounts, contributing to regional account plans and maintaining an active sales funnel in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by prioritizing selling activities, ensuring strong territory coverage and collaborating cross‑functionally with account management, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance
