Intermediate Data Analyst
Overview
As an Intermediate Data Analyst within our Data Analysis Chapter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, integrity, and performance of ingestion and data quality of Equifax’s core data assets.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related numerate discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience in database analysis and data management
- 3+ years of experience independently building data reports and analytical dashboards
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Hands-on experience using Python for data wrangling and transformation
- Practical experience creating visualisations using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Experience designing and managing relational database schemas, standardisation rules, and data quality metrics
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, configure, and implement data transformation and ingestion processes independently to support Equifax data assets.
- Execute investigative data analysis and evaluate data issues.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines, processing controls, and automated solutions along the data ingestion lifecycle.
- Integrate and migrate legacy data transformation, validation, and standardization processes into new processing platforms using modern analytics tools.
- Develop tools, metrics, and data quality assessment models to monitor the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of data supply.
- Extract data from disparate systems to diagnose supply trends, loading anomalies, and data provider input quality, implementing corrective solutions.
- Create dashboards and visual reports using advanced data visualisation tools to translate analytical findings into clear business insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, IT, Data Governance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure proper management of data assets.
