Overview
Gartner is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Marketing Integration/Intelligence team, focusing on developing scalable, secure applications and tools to enhance Sales and Service delivery productivity within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements & Eligibility
- 4-7 years of experience in software development using Java technology
- 3.5+ years of relevant experience in Core Java using J2EE, Spring Boot/Batch frameworks
- Experience with relational database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with Stored Procedures and Materialized Views
- Experience with ETLs, Job Schedulers, and Batching/Streaming data
- Experience with the consumption/creation of Restful APIs
- Experience with Git or a similar repository management tool
- Strong understanding of OOPS, Design principles, and Distributed systems
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into automated solutions
- Build and deliver Spring Boot/Batch applications integrating with databases, AWS Services, and REST APIs
- Work with Open-source technologies using Java in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Follow coding standards, build unit/integration tests, and create deployment scripts
- Create designs and style guides for business requirements
- Contribute to continual improvement of user interface, software architecture, or new technologies
