Overview
We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join the GrabDefence team in Bangalore, India to design backend systems that power our defence and security solutions, protecting our users and organisation.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects
- Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems
- Solid engineering foundation and curiosity to learn
- Experience building scalable, reliable backend systems
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Architect microservices-based solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements
- Improve database queries and design efficient data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Implement security best practices and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and system integrity
- Maintain comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure code reliability
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical documentation
