Overview
We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join the GrabDefence team in Bangalore, India to design backend systems that power our defence and security solutions, building scalable, efficient, and secure infrastructure that protects our users and organisation.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects
- Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems
- Strong engineering foundation and curiosity to learn
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Architect microservices-based solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements
- Improve database queries and design efficient data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Implement security best practices and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and system integrity
- Maintain comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure code reliability
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical documentation
