As a Digital Asset Security Engineer, you will help design, implement, and secure ING’s digital asset technology capabilities, working on security-critical components such as wallet infrastructure, key management, cryptographic controls, custody models, smart contract security, transaction authorization, secure signing, tokenization platforms, and blockchain integrations.

Requirements & Eligibility

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technology domains
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working in Agile organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and secure ING’s digital asset technology capabilities
• Work on security-critical components such as wallet infrastructure, key management, cryptographic controls, custody models, smart contract security, transaction authorization, secure signing, tokenization platforms, and blockchain integrations
• Collaborate with digital asset engineers, blockchain engineers, architects, cyber security teams, risk, compliance, legal, product owners, and global technology squads
• Ensure ING’s digital asset platforms are secure by design, resilient by default, auditable, compliant, and ready for production in a regulated banking environment
