Overview
The Inventory Manager oversees stock levels and inventory health within the warehouse from initial reception through to customer dispatch or vendor return. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role leads a team of Inventory Supervisors to enforce FIFO models, execute cycle counts, optimize space utilization, and maintain inventory accuracy to support seamless e-commerce fulfillment.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of warehouse management or FMCG experience
- Deep knowledge of direct-to-consumer e-commerce fulfillment, inventory software, and forecasting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluency in English, French, and/or Arabic
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end stock control and lead daily/monthly cycle counts, maintaining accurate records of all stock received, moved, and shipped out.
- Partner with commercial teams to address aging inventory through return-to-vendor (RTV) actions or promotional sales campaigns.
- Optimize warehouse storage capacity and map inventory processes against Jumia best practices, ensuring strict FIFO execution and safe item handling.
- Prepare detailed operational reports on stock levels, adjustments, and storage compliance while ensuring full system adherence.
- Supervise and develop Inventory Supervisors while working cross-functionally with Inbound, Outbound, and Aftersales teams.
