Requirements & Eligibility
- 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
- 2G,3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred
- 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required
- Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform FCAW, and GMAW welding processes as required.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and weld procedures.
- Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping
- Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
