Requirements & Eligibility
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
- Experience with schematic capture
- Extensive experience designing multi-layer Printer Circuit Boards with controlled impedance layers and blind micro-vias
- Able to analyze and test for signal integrity, crosstalk, etc.
- Familiar with several families of microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and System-on-Chips
- Demonstrate initiative on assignments; exercise strong independent judgment
- Able to technically lead/mentor less senior engineers
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test electronic equipment and systems, including radar detection/communications equipment and systems, circuitry components, computers, and Digital Signal Processing equipment
- Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance the client's business performance
- Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet the client's changing business needs
- Support and engage in programs, projects, and practices behind the client's culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures
- Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure the client's services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices
- Provide technical leadership and/or direction to lower-level designers
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
