Nutanix is looking to hire a curious and innovative SDET with experience in automation development and execution to qualify our Data Hub product/features, focusing on test planning, test case development, and test execution strategy.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Minimum of 4+yrs-7yrs of experience in QA(System Test), Automation using Python
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
• In depth working knowledge of Linux system interactions and Distributed Systems
• Deeper understanding of SW platform performance, load, scaling features
• Deeper understanding of KS8 platform performance, load, scaling features
• Experience with Python API test framework development
• Working knowledge of virtualization - VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT, build management tools, and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins/CircleCI

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plan design and test case development for performance, load & scale testing of NDH products.
• Define automation plan and test strategy within release timelines.
• End-to-end product quality ownership with all aspects of the test, automation, and delivery of the feature set at scale.
• Improve existing automated tests and overall automated test execution efficiency.
• Maintain a high overall quality index(QI) for the product/features at all times.
• Ability to delve deeper into debugging product issues with development engineers.
• Involve providing active feedback to improve the overall product experience.
• Debugging, filing bugs, and tracking them to closure.
