Requirements & Eligibility
- Current, unrestricted registered nursing license as approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
- Pediatric nursing experience, preferred
- Knowledge of basic nursing services including tube feeds, catheterizations, diabetic management, and seizure management
- Knowledge of common pediatric developmental conditions and pediatric emergency management
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all aspects of health and safety
- Complete initial and annual training on issues regarding the health and safety of our children
- Provides daily nursing services as prescribed by a licensed physician
- Is available for all health-related needs of the center, including sicknesses, accidents, and incidents
- Performs nursing assessment as indicated on EIDT children
- Maintains documentation of current immunization records and/or waiver forms on each child
- Requests medical records from doctors and facilities as needed
- Ensures that billing for nursing services is completed in an accurate and timely manner
