As a Financial Data Analyst at Stripe, you will pilot and streamline large, impactful workflows, create and maintain data pipelines and metrics, provide incident support, translate insights into process/product enhancements, and build automated solutions.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Have at least 4 years experience in a technical role with experience writing SQL to query relational databases
• Have experience navigating the nuanced complexity of financial systems and solving large scale, technical challenges
• Have strong analytical skills to investigate, prioritize, and identify the root cause of issues
• Have experience managing communications and workflows with technical and non-technical teams across internal and external stakeholders
• Are comfortable operating independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment to deliver results
• Have experience identifying and triaging technical issues to relevant teams for resolution
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement and proactive problem solving
• Have an investigative mindset and operations experience

Key Responsibilities

• Streamline Workstreams: Pilot and streamline large, impactful workflows that come with high risks/Low standardisation to the SDC.
• Improve Observability: Create and maintain data pipelines and metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Incident Support: Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for incident support and perform root-cause analysis.
• Translate Insights into process/product enhancements: Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive insights.
• Training & Documentation: Provide technical trainings on SQL, Python and other tooling, and create and maintain documentation.
• Process Automation: Analyze process data to identify automation opportunities and help build and maintain automated solutions.
• Process Improvements & Redesign: Streamline complex workflows through TMA and redesign, identify and integrate required tooling.
• Escalation Point: Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders for technical issues.
