Requirements & Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years + experience at Assistant Buyer/Junior Buyer level
• Proven track record of exceeding expectations and ability to understand and drive process improvements that benefit wider team
• Creative mindset, a passion for fashion and market trends paired with excellent analytical skills and a strong business acumen
• Proactive, autonomous problem solver, with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to multitask
• Ability to influence, strong negotiator and communicator in both verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Excel

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive weekly trade analysis with a focus on actions encompassing sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Develop strategic insights and actionable plans to optimise departmental performance, including NMV, profitability, and stock cover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align trade strategies with seasonal and long-term objectives.
• Provides quarterly SWOT analysis with actions and recommendations.
• Plans a balanced range including assortment selection and option planning across Core & Newness.
• Works closely with design team to align on market trends and customer preferences.
• Forecast demand accurately working alongside planning to develop replenishment strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering collaboration and driving mutual success.
