Platform Operations Engineer
Overview
Seeking a senior Platform Operations Engineer to provide technical leadership across Windows, virtualization, storage, and hybrid cloud platforms. This role will play a key part in VMware to Nutanix transition, platform upgrades, automation initiatives, and operational governance.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong Windows infrastructure engineering experience
- Advanced VMware administration; Nutanix hands-on experience preferred
- Backup, storage, and DR concepts (NetApp, Commvault, enterprise backup solutions)
- Certificate and platform security management
- Hybrid cloud exposure (Azure / GCP)
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead administration and troubleshooting across Windows Server, VMware, and Nutanix platforms
- Support migration initiatives from VMware to Nutanix
- Drive VTM remediation tracking and closure coordination
- Own certificate lifecycle management ensuring service continuity
- Oversee vendor coordination for DC hardware replacements and technical escalations
- Manage enterprise storage and backup platforms (NetApp, Commvault or equivalent)
- Support Azure and GCP workloads from an infrastructure perspective
- Participate in and lead Major Incident troubleshooting and recovery actions
